Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Heredera Shoes & Accessories (“Heredera”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing any of our products, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall limit or exclude any rights afforded to consumers under applicable Nigerian law.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:

Date of Delivery means the date on which an order is delivered to, or collected by, the customer or any person authorised by the customer to receive the order.

Collection means the physical pick-up of an order by the customer or the customer’s authorised representative from Heredera’s premises or designated collection point.

Working Days means Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays in Nigeria.

2. About Heredera

Heredera Shoes & Accessories is a fashion retailer offering a curated collection of ladies’ shoes, handbags, clutch purses, and fashion accessories.

Our physical store is located at:

2A Emma Abimbola Cole Street,
Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria.

Store Hours:

10 am - 7 pm
Open Monday - Saturday
Closed Sunday

3. Products

We make every effort to display product colours, materials, dimensions, and descriptions as accurately as possible.

However, actual colours and appearances may vary slightly due to lighting conditions, photography, and individual device settings. Minor variations shall not constitute defects.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are stated in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are subject to change without prior notice.

We accept:

* Bank transfers;
* Debit cards; and
* Other secure payment methods are made available at checkout.

An order is deemed confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

5. Shoe Sizing

All Heredera footwear is available in European (EU) sizes only.

Please note:

* We do not offer half sizes.
* Most styles fit true to size unless otherwise stated in the product description.
* Customers are encouraged to consult our size guide and seek assistance from our customer service team if uncertain about sizing.

Heredera shall not be responsible where a customer independently selects an incorrect size despite accurate sizing information having been provided.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver nationwide within Nigeria.

Estimated delivery timelines are:

Lagos: 1–3 Working Days

Outside Lagos: 3–5 Working Days

Delivery timelines are estimates only and may be affected by factors beyond our reasonable control, including public holidays, severe weather conditions, transportation disruptions, high-volume sale periods, and delays caused by third-party logistics providers.

Delivery charges vary according to location and will be communicated at checkout or by our customer service team.

7. Receipt of Deliveries

Customers are responsible for ensuring they are available to receive their orders.

Failure to answer calls or attend to the dispatch rider may result in:

* Redelivery charges;
* Additional logistics fees; and/or
* Charges associated with returning the package to Heredera.

Orders delivered by dispatch riders cannot be tried on before acceptance.

Delivery shall be deemed completed when an order is delivered to, or collected by, the customer or any person authorised by the customer to receive the order.

This provision does not affect a customer’s rights in relation to defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied items.

8. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellations shall be treated in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and our Return and Refund Policy.

9. Returns and Exchanges

Shoes, bags, and purses may be eligible for return, exchange, or refund provided they:

* Are unworn and undamaged;
* Are returned in their original packaging;
* Show no signs of outdoor use, scuffing, staining, alterations, misuse, or damage; and
* Are returned within the applicable return period.

The applicable return periods are:

* Lagos Orders: Within three (3) days of the Date of Delivery or Collection.
* Outside Lagos Orders: Within five (5) days of the Date of Delivery or Collection.

The foregoing return periods apply to voluntary returns, refunds, and size exchanges and do not limit statutory rights relating to defective or incorrectly supplied goods.

Delivery costs associated with returns and exchanges shall be borne by the customer except where an incorrect or defective item was supplied by Heredera.

10. Size Exchanges

Size exchanges are subject to stock availability.

Where a preferred replacement size is unavailable, customers may:

* Exchange for another item of equal value;
* Pay the difference for a higher-priced item; or
* Request a refund,

provided the returned item satisfies our return conditions and is returned within the applicable return period calculated from the Date of Delivery or Collection.

11. Refund Policy

Eligible refunds shall be processed to the customer’s original payment method or designated bank account within five (5) to seven (7) Working Days after the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved by Heredera.

Refunds shall not be issued for items that fail to meet our return requirements.

For the avoidance of doubt, eligibility for a refund shall be determined by reference to the applicable return period calculated from the Date of Delivery or Collection.

12. Sale and Promotional Items

Sale, promotional, discounted, clearance, and campaign purchases are final and may not be returned, exchanged, or refunded solely because a customer changes their mind, selects an incorrect size, or no longer desires the item.

This provision does not affect a customer’s statutory rights in relation to defective goods, goods not matching their description, or incorrectly supplied items.

13. Defective Items and Warranty

All products carry a limited warranty period of seven (7) days commencing from the Date of Delivery or Collection.

Defective or damaged items may be returned, exchanged, or refunded within this period, subject to inspection and verification by Heredera.

This warranty does not cover:

* Normal wear and tear;
* Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, improper care, or accidental damage;
* Items showing signs of use after delivery or collection; or
* Fashion jewellery.

This warranty is provided in addition to any rights and remedies available to consumers under applicable Nigerian law and does not limit such statutory rights.

14. Fashion Jewellery

For hygiene and product protection reasons, fashion jewellery cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded except where the item is defective or incorrectly supplied.

15. Undelivered Orders

Customers should report any undelivered order within:

* Twenty-four (24) hours of the advertised delivery date for Lagos deliveries; or
* Forty-eight (48) hours from the advertised delivery date for deliveries outside Lagos.

Failure to report within these timelines may affect Heredera’s ability to promptly investigate the matter but shall not prejudice any rights available to consumers under applicable Nigerian law.

16. Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

Heredera reserves the right to refuse, limit, suspend, or cancel any order where there is:

* Suspected fraud or unlawful activity;
* Pricing or typographical errors;
* Product unavailability;
* Abuse of our returns policy; or
* Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where an order is cancelled by Heredera, any payment received for the unfulfilled order shall be refunded.

17. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Nigerian law.

Subject to the foregoing, Heredera’s aggregate liability in respect of any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the affected item.

Heredera shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Intellectual Property

All website content, including logos, photographs, graphics, product descriptions, text, and designs, is the intellectual property of Heredera Shoes & Accessories and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without our prior written consent.

19. Privacy

By placing an order, customers consent to Heredera collecting and processing personal information, including names, telephone numbers, email addresses, delivery addresses, and payment information for:

* Processing and fulfilling orders;
* Providing customer support;
* Managing returns and refunds;
* Communicating with customers; and
* Complying with legal and regulatory obligations.

20. Force Majeure

Heredera shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, epidemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, strikes, transportation disruptions, communication failures, or failures of third-party logistics providers.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Return and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between Heredera and the customer concerning the use of our website and the purchase of our products.

22. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
